Engaged!

It's a sad day when your wedding band is cutting off circulation to your hand.  Yesterday. Brandon picked out a new wedding set for me courtesy of Claire's.  $11!  Sure beats the price of the other set :)  

Oh & Brandon did re propose while he finished his Wendy's chicken nuggets.

The Next Martha

Yesterday, I received my invitation to the shower Brandon's Mom is throwing for us in Toledo.  Check out these super creative invites my cousin Lauren designed!  With her help along with the help of Mom, Grandma, all of the aunts (and apparently one heck of a set of tweezers!).  They put together these adorable invites! 

Thanks ladies!  Can't wait to see what else you creative ladies have come up with!

Escape from Canton

This past weekend we had an opportunity to escape the heat and retreat Up North! 

A trip Up North isn't complete without a trip to The Jerky Outlet.

A word to those who do not yet own a home.  Once one issue is resolved, another will poke it ugly head around the corner.  

Anyone know of an inexpensive plumber??  Our shower has been leaking onto our kitchen table.  This is a droplet after Brandon & I cleaned the whole thing up.

Why am I up so early??  4th of July is not for waking up at 6am....

Hidden Surprise

Have you ever been inside the Detroit Public Library?  I hadn't either until the other weekend.  I had heard it was beautiful inside but I was not expecting this!

Prints are completed

We picked up the final prints from the printer over the weekend.  Now we just have to wait until October :)
