3 months already

She's 3 months already!  Can you believe it?!  She was congested this morning, but you never would have guessed it with these faces.  I guess she was so happy because Mom is home with her today :)

The Key to a Full Night's Sleep

*Full night's sleep meaning until 5:45am, but hey, I'll take it!

This one loves her baths.  Last night we began a strict bedtime routine in the hopes that she would stop waking up every 2-3 hours.  Success!  Now, I hope she keeps this slumber party going every night!

Thursday is the best day

Thursday's I'm home and this is who I get to spend the whole day with uninterrupted.  We play and for a few minutes she let's me practice my newborn photography before she gets mad.

Happy Thanksgiving

This year, we decided to stay home and make our own new traditions.  Not sure how many traditions we made exactly with all of the newborn chaos, but we definitely had fun.  I made my traditional Thanksgiving feast; Turkey, homemade stuffing- secret family recipe, green bean casserole for two recipe from Pintrest (Pintrest fail... sometimes you can't keep cutting recipes down to make just two servings.  Totally compromised the dish), mashed potatoes, gravy, Hawaiian rolls and cranberry sauce which I forgot to put out on the table until we were done.  Whoops.  Oh and I made those awesome salted carmel chocolate chip cookies from the diaper party.  Yum!  Stella did great watching me cook from her high chair that I placed in the kitchen...

Until Dinner...

I think she was just mad she couldn't partake in all of the yumminess.  I would be too!  Sooooooo...

She helped me eat :)  Happy Thanksgiving everyone and let the holiday festivities BEGIN!

How Wonderful Life is, Now You're in the World

Here she is: Stella Evelyn Schmidt.  I thought I would post something as I go through the 200 photos taken while in the hospital (most of which were not done by me, but by Brandon since I was confined to the hospital bed for days due to the c-section).

The title of this post is a shout out to Sir Elton John.  Thank you for your music as it saved Stella from her missing paci meltdown this morning.
