Let's Do the Time Warp Again!

Saturday night, Brandon, Brad & I went to the midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show in Taylor.  I've always wanted to go because it's supposed to be a blast.  Off we went, armed with the necessary props to use at their designated times.  We were definitely not disappointed!

Unfortunately, I think the staff must have stayed all night to clean up the aftermath.

Saturday morning I met up with Zoey.  She showed me her best modeling poses and then beat me in Hungry Hungry Hippos!

Sunday marked the start of baby season in our group of friends.  Jenny & Rob are expecting their first in June and their shower could not have been more perfect.

Time to Celebrate

Record Store Day is a day where all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music.  Artists prepare special limited release vinyl and cds as well as other promotional products in celebration of the love of music*.

*When I say music, I don't mean what the majority of the Detroit radio stations play

This line was wrapped around the corner even longer than this part of the line.

We made it out with everything we came for!  My limited edition White Stripes single & Dr. Dre's The Chronic and Brandon got limited edition Iggy & The Stooges, Genesis and a collaboration single of Feist & Mastodon called Feistadon.

Well after about 20 minutes of rigging my black pants with safety pins because I can no longer button them, I am on my way to shadow the fabulous Caitlin Maloney at my first wedding.  So excited!  Above is a shot I took with my point and shoot at the wedding of Rob & Jenny Jones.

Saturday night we celebrated Shannon's birthday with a fabulous dinner at Oak City Grill in Royal Oak followed by a few drinks at Fifth Ave.  Nothing is better than good friends and good food!
