Last night we celebrated Nicole's birthday at Mongolian BBQ.  As is tradition, I created just about the worst concoction possible.

V Day Project

Last Saturday, I was shopping with my Mom and saw these small decorative balls of yarn and decided to recreate them as a centerpiece.

Step 1. 

All you need is yarn of your color choice and those small green styrofoam balls used for making flower arrangements.

Step 2

Begin wrapping the yarn around the ball.  I used white and one other color 

Make sure to cover completely so none of the green from the styrofoam shows through.

There you have it - A great original centerpiece is under 30 minutes!

Snow Day

Saturday morning we woke up to what could be our first real snow in Metro Detroit.  The sun doesn't shine much in Michigan these months, so we had to take advantage of it.

Friday night Brandon had the guys over for Poker.  I was assigned the job of record changer and beer getter.
