A long December... Oh wait, January

These were taken on one of the two days worth of snow we got in January.  Who knew this beautiful slice of nature is in a park off of Michigan Avenue?!  For those of you familiar with the area, it's right across the street from the landfill.  Michigan is full of surprises.

Snow Day

Saturday morning we woke up to what could be our first real snow in Metro Detroit.  The sun doesn't shine much in Michigan these months, so we had to take advantage of it.
